At Valenso Spaces, we design and create custom woodwork and decorative art for homes, offices, hotels and showrooms, including wall panelling, feature walls, carved screens, custom furniture, doors, ceilings and art installations. We choose timber, veneers and finishes with care and work with skilled craftspeople, so every piece is made to fit your space and your style.
How it works?
Step 1 – Idea and Inspiration
We talk with you about the feel you want for the space, the story you want to tell and the places where wood or art will matter most. We look at your references and walk through the room together, so the pieces are planned as part of the whole interior.
Step 2 – Material and Sketch
We suggest timbers, veneers, laminates, metals and finishes, and show you samples in daylight and under artificial light. We then draw sketches and sizes for each piece, so you can see the shape, the pattern and the proportions before anything is cut.
Step 3 – Detail Drawings and Mock-up
We prepare detailed drawings for the joinery, the carving or the art, and we make a small mock-up or sample panel where it helps. You approve the final design and finish at this stage, which keeps changes and surprises to a minimum.
Step 4 – Crafting
Our craftspeople build each piece with care, covering cutting, joining, carving, polishing and finishing. We check the quality as work moves along and share photos with you, so you can follow the progress of your pieces.
Step 5 – Fitting and Finishing
We install every piece on site, adjust the fit, touch up the finish and set the lighting so the wood and the art look their best. We then hand over with simple care instructions to keep the pieces beautiful for years.We complete the project with thorough quality checks and final touches.
